Content Creation
Storytelling is at the heart of content. There are the old yarns strung with spoken words at the foundation, but storytelling has evolved to become a combination of image, text, language, and effectiveness. That last component, effectiveness, can be measured with conversion, readability, connection, and many other variables. Content has become the crossroads of data and art. Since content has become so widespread over the last few decades, it cannot afford to only be good but also needs to be effective.
My content strategy centers on my background in English literature and language, but also includes study of photography, consideration of design, and understanding of data. These components form effective content.

I write and edit various content for these channels. These include both single pieces of copy and multi-faceted campaigns across social media channels. My duties include writing copy for promotion of blog posts, podcasts, webinars, and other social media campaigns. Other examples include copy for video playlists, lecture series, and grant and scholarship promotions. Duties also include developing polls and other types of interactive posts for engaging with the technology community.
All content was written by Madison Local Shops. My duty was to proofread and edit site content before its launch. I also acted in a content consultant role for the company.
I am have acted as a content consultant and creator for Honour Essentials. My duties included photography contributions for Instagram and newsletter writer/story developer.
I am co-founder and curator of this group: my current responsibilities include selecting and writing content as well as editing a print magazine due out in early 2018.
